About FOFP
"Friends of Forge Pond" is an organization formed in July 2018 in Granby, MA. Our mission is to sustain, protect and improve this unique body of water consisting of 58 acres established in 1771 named Forge Pond. This commitment includes the preservation of the Forge Pond Dam, the pond, feeding streams, springs, neighboring wetlands, islands, surrounding border lands; including the Partyka Conservation Land Trust and all resident and transient life forms that contribute to its successful sustenance as a natural habitat.
